Simple controls // complex decisions

Space that fits in one hand.

Fly with one thumb while the ship handles the firing line. What you target changes the same large action control into a drive, mining laser, salvage rig, bio tractor, decoder, or rift jump.

Move first. Think fast.

Float through quiet sectors, discover patrols on your terms, and feel every chassis move differently. Portrait comes first; landscape and iPad open the view without adding extra power.

Make every verb tactile.

Fracture asteroids on shrinking sweet spots, clamp salvage in rhythm, tractor strange life aboard, and wipe dust from alien words. The work is part of the adventure.

Keep the impossible part.

Recovered modules roll identities, tradeoffs, signatures, and rare rule-breaking mutations. Compare them clearly, fit five systems, and return to the region that drops what you hunt.

First authored route

The Cinderwake remembers its hunters.

Ten sectors trace a culture built around worthy pursuit: ash houses, chained weapons, marked targets, and a Crown waiting at the end of the road. Clear it once, then return through the Starchart to hunt its rare modules, hidden life, and unfinished records.

Your route becomes a universe.

The Starchart turns discovery into direction. The Void Archive keeps the modules, lifeforms, language, landmarks, anomalies, cosmetics, and stories you uncover—even when it is time to put the phone down.

Built with restraint

The only thing chasing you should be in space.

Current build posture

Single-player first

No login, social feed, or always-online requirement is part of the current game.

No ads or behavioral tracking

The current build has no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

Local-first saves

Progress currently lives on the device. Native cloud saving is planned work, not a promise hidden behind the landing page.

Fair support cosmetics

A small stat-free cosmetic pack is planned for players who want to support development. It is not required for completion and is not active yet.

Signal forming

Gripwake is still in the Shipyard.

The game is in active development and playtesting for iPhone and iPad. A public App Store download is not live yet; this site will say so plainly when that changes.
